Location
In the Spurline Crossing Plaza Appointments and Times Appointments are generally one hour in length and are available during the day or evening. Saturday appointments are accomodated. Parking Parking is generally available in the plaza, but if full, there is pedestrian access from the Uptown Waterloo city centre lot Rates and Payment The regular rates for counselling is $130/hour for individuals, $140/hour for couples and families. Accepted methods of payment are cash, cheque, debit, Visa, and MasterCard. Note that OHIP does not cover counselling, but many employee benefit programs will reimburse for counselling services from a registered social worker (RSW) up to a preset annual coverage limit. To determine if you have coverage, contact someone in your Human Resources department or call your benefits carrier directly. You may or may not need approval from a family doctor. Cancellations Please be advised that 24 hours notice is required to cancel an appointment. Any appointment cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will be subject to a $35.00 cancellation fee which will be billed directly to the Client. A Safe Place Open Heart Counselling is a safe place for people of any gender, race, sexuality, or background. Here, every client is treated with respect and compassion.
